We are delighted to be celebrating three years of BEDU by highlighting our commitment to community and Bedouin roots of unwavering hospitality - looking to the future and expanding the brand with the launch of Little BEDU!
After every desert storm in the Middle East, the floor is transformed into a carpet of grasses and brilliantly coloured wildflowers. The Bedu people travel year-round, in search of these green places to take shelter for food and water.
Embodying the ancient Bedouin adage of welcoming everyone with an open heart, BEDU has been our ‘Bedouin camp’ for the last three years, where anyone and everyone is welcome. Now, extending these core beliefs, in a fast grab-and-go concept, Little BEDU is the oasis on Gough Street - just a stone’s throw away from its sister restaurant.
From October 22nd, hungry office workers, aimless wanderers and grab ‘n’ go eaters can indulge in fresh cut salads and hearty rice bowls, topped with Chef Corey's signature dips and vibrantly spiced proteins. Dishes will include: the Jordan (HK$130) with pulled lamb shoulder, raisin, chopped tomato, labneh; Tel Aviv (HK$125) with crispy fried fish, soft boiled egg and hummus; Egypt (HK$120) with chickpea falafel, hummus, pickles and fresh mint; Beirut (HK$125) with spiced chicken, pine nuts, tabouli and labneh; and the Cypriot (HK$95), smoked sausage with honey labneh and tabouli, topped with crunchy walnuts. All of which will be available for takeaway or delivery via Deliveroo.
Our founders, Laura and Alexis Offe welcome the new concept; "It has been extremely rewarding to see that even through the tough times, BEDU has woven into the fabric of Gough Street and it’s important for us to continue to make a positive impact on our surrounding community.”
